Preparation

This workshop is suitable for professional or amateur photographers of all levels. All we ask is that you familiarise yourself with using your own camera and learn how to change settings quickly before attending the event. This will enable you to make the most of your training experience.

What to bring

Camera – Any digital SLR or a mirrorless interchangeable lens camera is ideal.

Lenses – On APSC format lenses within a range between 16mm to 60mm is ideal and on full frame 24mm to 90mm is perfect. There are times where an extreme wide angle lens may be a preferred option or a longer telephoto. The important thing with lens choice is to take what you feel comfortable with.

“Damien’s enthusiasm for the photographic art is infectious and anyone spending time with him will soon be similarly enthused. Whether it’s a boarded up factory entrance, a painted door covered in bird droppings or old rusting pipes Damien can, with a few camera and speedlight adjustments, produce works of art.” – Bob

“What can I say but thank you so much for another mind blowing experience.” – Lee

“I thoroughly enjoyed myself and learnt soooo much! It was just what I needed to spur me on. I would love to repeat the experience in the future.” – Bernard

Cancellation Policy

As our costs for each training event remain the same regardless of how many delegates attend, like any pre-booked tickets for the theatre, concert, flights etc, we are unable to give a full refund in the event of non-attendance, regardless of the circumstances.

The exception to this is if we have prior notice and are able to put a cancellation place back online AND your place is resold.  In this event we will of course make a full refund or credit to you. We also reserve the right to cancel any workshop if there is insufficient demand, especially if it means that our costs would be higher than our income. Please therefore do not leave it until the last few weeks if you are interested in a particular date, as you may find that it has been removed! Please note that we cannot be liable for any other costs incurred by yourself, so please check with us before booking any non-refundable accommodation or transport.
